MELTS

Please note that all Melts are received as raw EVS clips. Due to the quantity of a game’s Melts clips, Melts are not intended to be downloaded in their entirety. Instead, Ice Chest will serve as a library to access Melts clips when needed. Each Team will be able to access their own Melts.

All Melts clips contain player identifying terms that will allow you to locate all clips of a player from a given Melt. Please download the Melts Clips Player Identifying Terms document containing player identifying term examples. Below are instructions on how to use the player identifying terms in your searches.

Searching for player Melts clips via a Team’s Melts page: In order to locate all clips of a player from a given Melt on a Team’s Melts page, first select the relevant date range in the Date filter and click “Submit”.

Then, enter the player’s identifying term based on the Melts Clips Player Identifying Terms document in the search bar and search for all results.

In most cases, the identifying term will be the first letter of the Team’s city, along with the player number. For games in which both Team cities start with the same letter, the first letter of the Team’s name is used instead. Some Melts clips may use an abbreviation of the player’s last name instead of the team and number identifier. In this case, enter the first four letters of the player’s last name to find any additional player clips from a given Melt.

Searching for player Melts clips via the main search page:
In order to locate all clips of a player from a given Melt while using the main search page, apply the following Sort and Filters:

Sort by: Start Time (Local) (A to Z)
Date = (Select relevant Date)
Season = (Select relevant Season)
Team = (Select relevant Team)
Content Type = Melts

Once these Sort and Filters are applied, enter the player’s identifying term based on the Melts Clips Player Identifying Terms document in the search bar and search for all results.
